to keep my family & friends updated.

The wistful week has officially started!
Everything's ready for Australia and I'm so eager to leave! BUT I still have to say goodbye to all my amazing friends and family members. This sucks! I'm just going to ignore the fact that goodbyes are awful and keep my thoughts on the new start in Australia and keep up my excitement! (Hopefully that will minimize the sadness of these last days.)

On Monday I was at hairdresser and re-dyed my hair, same colour so it didn't really change but it looks a bit nicer again. I also got into a silly little fight with my mum.. just all these emotions rushing trough me. Luckily mum knows what it's like to go to an exchange year.  All forgiven and forgotten in less than an hour! :)

The perfect way to spend our last two days:
 1. Fed the bodybuilder as much calories as I could!!! (succeed too well)
 2. Talked for 4+ hours straight ( happened both days)
 3. Ate some more because talking is such an exercise it makes you hungry..
 4. Drank some tea and coffee!
 5. Aaand chatted for few more hours..!

some food pictures because these tasted so good they deserve some free advertising!
(Tokyo 55 and Aschan cafe, if anyone's interested in trying these)
I already miss her but next summer will be here before we even notice!
My baby's gotta roll on her own now!!!

Spent the Tuesday evening hanging out with Elisa, Tommi and Anna! :)
Just had some casual fun: Elisa and I brought them food and some furniture and ate sweets and watched few episodes of the Walking Dead.
It's always relaxing visiting them and I'm going to miss them much! :))

More lame posts later this week, haha.
Love,
Kia

Festival friday

Pori Jazz festival!!

So yesterday me and Nelli went to the Pori festival to see Olly Murs perform.  The train ride was awfully long and boring but the gig was so worth going! We didn't only see Olly Murs live but also got these weird 'high five handshakes' from him!!! He was totally digging our dance moves!
And had surprisingly good moves himself as well... So basically our two hour Murs hunt was a success!!

We also got to see John Legend and he has some really great tunes!
The jazz street was fun too, even though everything was really expensive we couldn't resist but bought some sweets, yuum! (okay I ate so much sweets I should never eat candy ever again!)
We stayed the night at Nelli's grandparents' house and took a train back home today.  Thank god I got some sleep on the train so the ride didn't seem so long.

Chocolate apple and grapes! Try it sometime, it's really sweet.

Now I'm just going to have a relaxing weekend at my dad's house,
Keep calm lovelies!

Here goes nothing

Sooo this is it.. the first post (yikes)!
I've decided to start writing a blog because it's probably the easiest way to show everyone in Finland how my life is like in Australia.
I've never been a very good writer nor a diary keeper so this is definitely going to be challenging but I'll try to post actively!
I'll leave on the 28th of July (which is soon!!!) to go to Australia as an exchange student.
I'm so excited to meet my host family and live in Australia!

Made some American chocolate chip pancakes with Nelli today, yuuum:)

Olly Murs concert tomorrow;)
thanks and byee!
